The New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT) has signed an agreement with the Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) to provide bunkering facilities for vessels.
NMPT had invited tenders from firms experienced in providing the facilities. IOCL won the bid for a five-year period offering the highest minimum volume of bunker offered by a firm. The expected minimum cargo to be handled will be 90,000 tonne annually.
