East Coast Railway has invited bids for construction of six tunnels for Kottavalasa-Koraput Doubling Project.
The scope of work includes construction of six tunnels (T-1 and T-1A from ch 36080 to ch 36520 , T-2 from ch 36900 to ch 37400 , T-3 from ch 38000 to ch 38360, T-4 & T-5 from ch 40000 to ch 41660 , T-5A from ch 42360 to ch 43240 and T-6 & T-7 from ch 44280 to ch 45120) including its illumination works and supply, erection, testing and commissioning of E&M Works i.e. anti-fire equipment, fire fighting main pump, fire hydrant system, gas extinguishing systems & heat detection system between Boddavara-Sivalingapuram Stations of Kottavalasa-Koraput Doubling of Waltair Division in East Coast Railway.
The estimated value of the work is Rs 243.49 crore with completion period of 24 months.
