Flying Institute at Jalgaon airport begins operationThe Flying Training Institute at Jalgaon airport has started operations with 15 cadets. The training institute of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) is run by Skymex Aero.

AAI has provided around 5,000 sq ft of land at sprawling airport to the academy, which has set up its infrastructure for the flying training institute.

AAI has also prepared a 400 mtr long link taxiway for the institute connecting it to the main runway of the airport.

Jalgaon will become a flying training hub in Maharashtra as the Union government is also planning to establish a helicopter training institute at the airport.
