The President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India laid the foundation stone for new ICAI building in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
The project is expected to be ready within 12 months. The building will be constructed at a cost of Rs 48 crore.
The building will have a 500-seater auditorium and include all modern facilities with advanced technologies. The new building will have 10 classrooms that can accommodate around 645 students.
A seminar hall will also be set up with a seating capacity of around 500 people and a reading room with 100 people capacity.
