Swedish furniture company IKEA is now looking at expanding in Tier-II cities as a part of its Phase-II expansion plan.
IKEA is currently developing a large format store in Bengaluru, Karanataka and later on will set up similar format in Delhi as part of its Phase-I expansion plan.
The company intends to offer through multi-channel approach in the form of large format stores, small stores or through online platform.
Currently, the company has large-format stores in Hyderabad and Mumbai. The stores will be completely owned by IKEA.
