SpiceJet’s Chief Operating Officer Sanjiv Kapoor has tweeted that the ground staff and cabin crew in India take a lot of abuse from the passengers.
Mr. Kapoor, that is the problem with low cost airlines like yours. You try to snatch away passengers from Railways and they naturally behave the way they do with railway attendants! To deal with this problem you need to employ bouncers in the flight instead of cabin crew.
Alternatively, DGCA may be asked to fix the penalty and permit airlines to charge on the spot penalty from flyers who behave indecently with crew members. It will be another source of revenue for beleaguered airlines!
