Upgradation of Morinda-Kurali-Siswan to Himachal Pradesh road is expected to complete by October 2014 and tolling operations are expected to begin thereafter. The total distance along the project highway from Morinda-Kurali-Siswan to Himachal Pradesh border is 29.65 km. It may be remembered here that RFQs were invited for designing, finance, construction, operation and maintenance of this project in August 2011.

The project was awarded to Rohan Rajdeep Tollways Ltd who set up an SPV, Rohan Rajdeep Highways Ltd, to implement the project. Rohan Rajdeep Tollways Ltd is a joint venture between Pune-based Rohan Builders (I) Private Ltd and Ahmednagar based Rajdeep Buildcon Private Ltd. The project is to be implemented at a total cost of Rs.97.35 crore and the company has already achieved financial closure for the project.
