The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) awarded projects for a total length of 6,306 km in FY22, while constructed 4,325 km of highways.
The capital expenditure by NHAI for development of highway infrastructure reached an all-time high of over Rs 1,68,770 crore during FY22.
In FY22, the road building agency constructed a total length of 4,325 km, which is higher than 4,218 km in FY21 and 3,979 km in FY20.
