Surat-based NJ Eco Build Private Limited (NBPL) has recently completed greenfield project for manufacturing Aerated Autoclaved Concrete (AAC) blocks. AAC block manufacturing plant has an installed capacity of 300,000 cubic meters per annum (CMPA) and is located at Bavla near Ahmedabad. The AAC blocks are proposed to be sold under the brand name “Wonderbloc” and will initially cater to the markets of Gujarat and Rajasthan. AAC blocks are primarily used as a substitute of red clay bricks in the real estate industry. NBPL had incurred a total cost of Rs. 41.96 crore which was funded through a term loan of Rs. 26.50 crore and the balance through equity/promoters’ contribution.
NBPL is promoted by Surat-based Shah family which has business interests in textile and real estate sectors.
