S.O. 1125(E): Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, number S.O. 2715(E), dated 29.11.2011, published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) issued under sub-section (1) of Section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the central government declared its intention to acquire the land specified for widening/four-laning/six-laning, maintenance, management and operation of NH-5 on the stretch of land from km. 1053.230 to km. 1055.680 and km. 1058.040 to km. 1084.600 (Gundugolanu-Vijayawada section) and km. 0.000 to km. 3.750 and from km. 6.550 to km. 6.720 (Hanuman Junction Bypass section) and from km.33.050 to km.47.880 (Vijayawada Bypass section) in Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh.

The objections received have been considered and disallowed by the competent authority. In pursuance of sub-section (1) of Section 3D of the Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the central government and therefore in exercise of the powers conferred, the central government declares that the specified land should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose.

And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of Section 3D of the Act, the central government declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the specified land shall vest absolutely in the central government, free from all encumbrances
