GK Energy has secured a Rs 235.92-crore order to deploy 10,000 solar-powered water pumping systems across Maharashtra under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana.

With this project, the company has secured orders worth Rs 637.83 crore from the utility, reflecting its strong execution capabilities and continued role in advancing Maharashtra’s clean energy transition, an exchange filing said. The order by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL), valued at Rs 235.92 crore, involves the design, manufacture, supply, transportation, installation, testing and commissioning of 3 HP, 5 HP and 7.5 HP solar-powered agricultural pumping systems across the state. The project will be executed within 60 days from the issuance of the work order/Notice to Proceed (NTP).

The initiative will support the deployment of solar-powered irrigation systems across Maharashtra, enabling farmers with reliable and sustainable access to energy for irrigation while reducing dependence on conventional power sources.

With over 140,000 renewable energy systems till March 2026, the company has installed more than 617 MW of renewable energy capacity across India. The company operates across 7,500+ villages, supporting India’s transition towards cleaner, more decentralised energy systems.
