At the center of this brilliantly guided organization is the lead product designer and director of the company, Mr. Gobind Kapur. Through his individual expertise in design and remarkable business vision, Mr. Kapur has contributed towards the company’s robust image in the design industry.
Maison Du Luxe launched 7 brand new products under their collection ‘Ensemble’. They displayed their exclusive and bespoke furniture collection at the India Design 2020 which was held on 13th- 16th February 2020 at the NSIC Exhibition Grounds, Okhla New Delhi. India Design ID is the country’s most definitive design and home decor week which provides the attendees with the opportunity to come and witness the largest congregation of the best in architecture, interiors, and decor. It features a display of the finest in home decoration, across categories like furniture, accessories, kitchens, furnishing, lighting and much more.
Decoration pavilion, booth 45 and 46 witnessed an influx of visitors on all four days of the exhibition. Architects, Interior Designers, and visitors alike were highly intrigued and mesmerized with their collection. Curated by Ar. Archana Agarwal, the collection was an amalgamation of the elements- metal, wood, and stone. The seven products namely, ‘Noire’- the black sofa, ‘Polaris’- the swirl chair, ‘Bois’-the wooden coffee table, ‘Ailes’- the chair, ‘Briller’ and ‘Jumeaux’- the two consoles and lastly, ‘Armoire’- the concept wall, stole the show inexplicably with their definitive features and comfortable demeanor. The star attraction of the collection was the use of druzy stone in the chair and consoles. The genius implementation of the stone in furniture was appreciated beyond measure. Another feather to the cap was the bar that was incorporated in the concept wall. Its implementation and ideation garnered a lot of appreciation.
‘Ensemble’ is the true disposition of a functionally viable yet glamorous assortment of furniture. The collection is a pedagogy of intricately crafted furniture which derives its inspiration from the raw elements in a forest. Maison Du Luxe overcame every adversity and hit the bull’s eye by achieving what was intended. Breaking all the inhibitions, they went full throttle with this collection and successfully fulfilled its journey from a 2D sketch to a live 3D abyss.
