AFCONS Infrastructure Limited, a Shapoorji Pallonji Group Company, in a joint venture with Indian Railways PSU IRCON Limited has bagged a contract from Bangladesh Railway for building a Railway Bridge with approach rail lines. The project is estimated to cost around Rs. 453 crore and will have to be completed in 30 months.
The project involves doubling of Dhaka-Chittagong Railway corridor which is considered to be the backbone of Bangladesh Railway infrastructure.
