India’s embassy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, recently invited prequalification applications from contractors for the construction of the Indian embassy building complex in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.

The project consists of chancery and cultural centre, Ambassador’s residence, officers and staff house, security office and service building. It involves works associated with civil, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire fighting and security systems.

The approximate built-up area is 4,984 sq. metres and the construction period is 24 months.
