Ester Filmtech, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ester Industries, has planned to set up an advanced polyester film manufacturing facility at Chandanvelly in Shahbad mandal, Telangana.
The total investment of the entire project is approximately Rs 1,350 crore in three phases.
The implementation of Phase-1 with a capital outlay of Rs 500 crore is scheduled to be completed by Q3/2022. The project will create direct employment opportunities for about 800 people.
The end products of the proposed unit will find its applications in the packaging material and help contribute towards strengthening the value chain of flexible packaging industry. The company proposes to export 30-40 percent of its production.
