The 200 km CycleWalk will reduce air pollution of New Delhi by at least 20 percent. The project will be developed in the city over the next four years.

The total cost of the project is estimated to be Rs 550 crore.

The phase-I will see development of 36 km and over the years the network will exceed 200 km. There are three lines chosen for fast and quick adoption namely, Nilgai Line: Badarpur to Malviya Nagar metro station (20.5 km); Peacock Line: Malviya Nagar metro station to Vasant Kunj Mall (8.5 km); and Bulbul Line: Chirag Dilli to Nehru Place and ISKCON Temple.
