Govt to offer Rs 120 cr incentives for drone manufacturingCentre will offer Rs 120 crore incentives for the manufacturing of drones and drone components over the next three years under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme.

The beneficiaries include 12 drone manufacturers and 11 drone component manufacturers. The government has specified separate eligibility criteria for MSMEs and non-MSME firms for the incentive schemes.

The firms shortlisted for drone manufacturing incentives include Aarav Unmanned Systems, Bengaluru; Asteria Aerospace, Bengaluru; Dhaksha Unmanned Systems, Chennai; EndureAir Systems, Noida; Garuda Aerospace, Chennai; Ideaforge Technology, Mumbai; IoTechWorld Avigation, Gurugram; Omnipresent Robot Technologies, Gurugram; Raphe Mphibr, Noida; Roter Precision Instruments, Roorkee; etc.

The companies shortlisted for drone component manufacturing include Absolute Composites, Bengaluru; Adani-Elbit Advanced Systems India; Adroitec Information Systems, New Delhi; Alpha Design Technologies, Bengaluru; Dynamake Engineering, Hyderabad; Imaginarium Rapid, Mumbai; SASMOS HET Technologies, Bengaluru; among others.
