The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has signed loan agreements with the government of India, to provide Japanese official development assistance (ODA) loans worth JPY 312.258 billion for seven infrastructure projects.

JICA has extended loan worth JPY 116.52 billion for Dedicated Freight Corridor Project (Phase-2) (III), JPY 73 billion for Chennai Metro Project (Phase-2) (II), JPY 37.068 billion Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Project (Phase-3) (II), JPY 23.129 billion for North East Road Network Connectivity Improvement Project (Phase-6).

It has also extended loan worth JPY 6.401 billion for Uttarakhand Integrated Horticulture Development Project, JPY 10.535 billion for Tamil Nadu Biodiversity Conservation and Greening Project for Climate Change Response, and JPY 45.605 billion for Assam Health System Strengthening Project.
