The land acquisition for construction of flyover at Pattom will begin in August 2022. The construction work is slated to begin in November 2022.
The flyover will begin from near the PSC office, Pattom and end at the one-way at Plamoodu.
An amount of Rs 16.46 crore is required for the land acquisition has been handed over to the land acquisition officer. The work is expected to be completed in two years.
The flyover is proposed at a length of 1,008 mtr. The project is being implemented with financial assistance from KIIFB.
The estimated cost of the project is Rs 138 crore. An area of 0.22 ha will be acquired. Besides the private land, 0.0964 ha of government land will also be utilised for the project.
Kerala Rapid Transit corporation will be executing the project. The final design of the flyover has been submitted for the approval.
