Petronas Hydrogen, Continental Automotive to infuse Rs 32,000 cr in KarnatakaThe government of Karnataka has entered memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with the Malaysia-based Petronas Hydrogen, and Continental Automotive Components (India) for a total investment of Rs 32,000 crore.

Petronas has committed to make an investment of Rs 31,200 crore to set up a renewable energy plant in Mangaluru. The project will create employment opportunities for around 3,000 jobs.

Continental Automotive will infuse around Rs 1000 crore in Research and Development centre. The project is expected to add about 6,000 jobs.

The proposed investment is towards the expansion of its Technical Centre India (TCI).
