shipping logisticsThe multi-modal transport hub and multi-modal logistics hub in Greater Noida will be soon linked to the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan.

This would make it easier to develop both the projects in better coordination.

Both these projects will be developed under the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC)-Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida (IITGNL).

The master plans of these two projects will soon be uploaded on the portal of GatiShakti. For this, a multi-modal logistics hub will be set up. Next to this, a multi-modal transport hub will be constructed, which will have a state-of-the-art railway terminal.

State and inter-state bus stands will also be developed. The same will be connected to the mass rapid transit system. Work on the project will soon be commenced post acquiring land from the farmers.

Tenders for construction will be issued as soon as the land is transferred in the name of IITGNL. It will take two years to develop the railway line. Over Rs 800 crore will be spent on the project.

The interiors of the logistics hub will be developed on a public-private partnership (PPP) model.

As many as one lakh jobs will be available from transport and logistics hubs and over 10,000 jobs will be created in industries set up in the integrated township.
