In the second week of March 2023, the following companies bagged major project orders.

NBCC (India) has secured an order from the Government of Puducherry for the construction of Government Medical College and Hospital at Karaikal in Puducherry, for a consideration of Rs 500 crore. NBCC will provide its services as a project management consultant (PMC) on deposit work basis, as per the contract.

RailTel has bagged a Rs 287.57-crore order from the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) for supply, installation, integration, testing and commissioning of the IT infrastructure for greenfield Data Centres at New Delhi and Bengaluru. The scope of the order also includes training the staff and providing necessary support.

An Indian defence start-up, Hyper Stealth Technologies Private Limited (HSTPL) announced on 15 March 2023 that it has bagged an order for Integrated Mobile Camouflage System (IMCS). HSPTL, the first winner of the defence ministry’s Innovations for Defence Excellence (iDEX) programme, got an order from the Indian army for supply of IMCS. Besides manufacturing multi-spectral camouflage nets and tents, HSTPL product portfolio includes adaptive thermal signature management paints, radar and infrared camouflaging paint.

Surya Roshni has secured a contract worth Rs 96.39 crore for the supply of 3LPE Coated steel pipes from Hindustan Petroleum Corporation for city gas distribution projects in three states. The project sites are located in Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. As per the contract the company has to supply 1,06,000 mtrs of API 3LPE Coated steel pipes by November 2023.
