Coal India places Rs 2,900 cr equipment order with Belaz

Coal India places Rs 2,900 cr equipment order with BelazPower Mech Projects (PMPL)-AMR India has bagged an order from Central Coal Fields  for development and operationalisation of Kotre Basantpur Pancho Project in Ramgarh and Bokaro districts, Jharkhand, in mine developer-cum-operator (MDO) mode for extraction of coking coal.

The order value is Rs 9,294.14 crore and the contract period is 25 years with a mine reserve of 104.90 million tonne.

This contract will be executed through KBP Mining a special purpose vehicle (SPV), incorporated for the purpose of execution (with Power Mech Projects holding 74 percent stake and AMR India holding 26 percent stake).
