Inox Wind (IWL) has secured a 100 MW turnkey wind power project order from Indian Oil Corporation (Indian Oil), with a contract value of approximately Rs 755 crore.
Under the order, Inox Wind will undertake the end-to-end execution of the project, including supply of wind turbine generators (WTGs), engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), project execution, and post-commissioning operations and maintenance (O&M) services for 10 years.
The order is a repeat order from Indian Oil and further strengthens Inox Wind’s presence among large institutional customers, including public sector undertakings (PSUs), commercial and industrial (C&I) customers and independent power producers (IPPs).
The project will leverage Inox Wind’s integrated capabilities across the wind energy value chain, covering wind turbine manufacturing, project development, EPC and long-term O&M services.
According to Inox Wind, the order reflects the growing demand from large enterprises and public sector organizations for reliable renewable energy solutions as India accelerates its transition towards clean energy.
Inox Wind has an annual manufacturing capacity of 2.5 GW, with manufacturing facilities across Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh. The company manufactures key wind turbine components, including blades, tubular towers, hubs and nacelles, and offers 3 MW and upcoming 4.45 MW wind turbine generator platforms.
Its subsidiary Inox Green Energy Services provides renewable energy O&M services, while Inox Renewable Solutions undertakes EPC services for wind and solar projects and develops common infrastructure, including power evacuation infrastructure.
