Adani Enterprises (AEL) has received a letter of award (LoA) from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for a road project in the state of Kerala.

The company had recently participated in a tender issued by NHAI under hybrid annuity mode (HAM).

The work involves six-laning of Azhiyur to Vengalam section of NH-17 (New NH-66) from design ch 189.200 (ex 188.000 km) to design ch 232.100 (ex 230.400 km) [except six-laning of Paloli to Moorad section from design ch 203.000 (ex 201.590 km) to des ch 205.100 (ex 203.900 km)] in the state of Kerala on HAM under Bharatmala Pariyojana.

The company’s bid project cost was Rs 1,838.10 crore. The construction period is 2.5 years and operation period is 15 years.

With this project award, Adani Group will have a total of six NHAI road projects under HAM in the states of Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Kerala.
