On 1 December 2022, CM Naveen Patnaik laid the foundation stone for the Vedanta Aluminium Park in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The aluminium park would be one of India’s largest metal parks, spanning 253 acre near Jharsuguda.
The park is being developed in a partnership between Vedanta Aluminum and the Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation.
Vedanta has invested over one lakh crore and created over 5 lakh direct and indirect job opportunities in the state over the last couple of years.
