Electronics companies intend to invest Rs 36,804 cr in KarnatakaThe Karnataka IT/BT minister has stated that electronics manufacturers have expressed interest in establishing plants in Karnataka, with large-scale investments totaling Rs 36,804 crore.

The state had attracted investments in the semiconductor industry worth Rs 22,900 crore.

ISMC Analog Fab has already expressed interest in establishing a fab facility in the state. The company plans to set up a Semiconductor Fabrication manufacturing unit at Kochanahalli Industrial Area in Mysuru district of Karnataka.

Furthermore, firms such as Exide, Hitachi, and Bosch, among others, have submitted investment plans that have been approved.
