IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd, one of the largest BOT road developers in India, has commenced toll collection on its Jaipur-Deoli BOT project, the company announced. The project was commissioned in stipulated time.

IRB Jaipur Deoli Tollways Pvt. Ltd, the wholly-owned special purpose vehicle which implemented the project, has issued the Provisional Certificate by the competent authority effective September 27, 2013. Consequently, the SPV started partial toll collection on this project.

The Jaipur-Deoli BOT project involved four laning of the Jaipur-Deoli section of NH-12 from 18.700 km to 165.000 km in Rajasthan on DBFOT-Toll basis. It involved design, engineering, finance, construction, operation and maintenance of the section under NHDP-Phase III.

IRB_BOT Project_ProjectsMonitorThe concession period for the project is 25 years and the estimated cost of the project is Rs.1,733 crore. The company secured this project on viability gap funding basis and sought VGF of Rs.306 Crore from NHAI.

Earlier, IRB had emerged as the lowest bidder for the Jaipur-Deoli section of NH-12 in Rajasthan.
