Ircon International invites bids for Chhattisgarh East West Rail Corridor

Ircon International has floated tenders for works on Chhattisgarh East West Rail Corridor.

The scope of work involves civil works including earthwork for railway formation, blanketing work, minor bridges, major bridges, ROBs, RUBs, FOBs, track linking works (including supply of ballast but excluding supply of rails and sleepers), station building and other service buildings, staff quarters, platform works including general electrical works for Chhattisgarh East West Rail Corridor from Gevra Road (0 km) to Pendra Road (135 km) in the state of Chhattisgarh over South East Central Railway.

The work will be implemented between Sendurgarh (67 km) to Pendra Road (135 km) in connection with the construction of new BG electrified double railway line at a cost of Rs 679.17 crore.

The work will also be implemented between Gevra Road (0 km) to Sendurgarh (67 km) double line and Urga (0 km) to Kusmunda (11.51 km) single line at a cost of Rs 799.34 crore.

The works will be completed in 30 months.
