Jindal Steel & Power has secured two coal blocks for commercial coal mining purposes in Odisha by offering a revenue share of 15.25 percent.

The coal blocks, Utkal B1 & B2, have geological reserves of 347 million tonne and a peak rated capacity of eight million tonne.

Twenty First Century Mining bagged a coal in Jharkhand by offering six percent revenue share.

The Rabodih OCP coal block has geological reserves of 133 million tonne and a peak rated capacity is 2.50 million tonne.

BS Ispat won Chinora coal mine in Maharashtra by offering 53 percent share and the mine has reserves of 18 million tonne and has 0.26 million tonne peak rated capacity.

All four coal mines are fully explored coal mines. The total geological reserves for these coal mines are 498.10 million tonne. The cumulative PRC for these coal mines is 10.76 million tpa.
