A study shows that those who can speak fluent English earn 30 per cent more than others. This report has attracted many comments, especially from political circles. For example, Lalu and Mulayam don’t agree with this study at all and criticise the report in strong words. They cite their own example in support of their claims. Like, Manmohan Singh is always silent. So no one knows which language he speaks or where his support lies. However, Mayawati has taken this study seriously and has engaged an English tutor to improve her language (and her income too).
