The Southern Railway has invited bids for doubling of track between Ernakulam and Turavur in Kerala.
The scope of work includes proposed construction of Br. No. EAK 10 at ch 3557 (three x 29.20 mtr PSC girder and one x 61.00 mtr open web steel girder), Br. No. EAK 17 at ch 5907 (one x 29.60 mtr PSC girder, two x 17.90 mtr PSC U girder and three x 29.60 mtr PSC girder) between Ernakulam and Kumbalam stations and Br. No. EAK 31 at ch 10230 (27x 32.60 mtr C/C of pier PSC box girder and one x 61.00 mtr open web steel girder) for doubling of track between Ernakulam and Turavur between Kumbalam and Turavur stations in Kerala.
The estimated value of the work is Rs 117.6 crore with completion period of 24 months.
