Nodal agency Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has split the Andheri (East) to Dahisar (East) Metro-7 corridor in three packages for the purpose of tendering that began on December 21, 2015. One winner will be selected for each package and the three winning bidders are expected to concurrently complete the entire elevated viaduct and 16 stations in 30 months.
The first package consists of designing and constructing of an elevated viaduct and five elevated stations– Andheri (E), Shankarwadi, JVLR Junction, Mahanand and new Ashok Nagar.
The second package consists of designing and constructing of an elevated viaduct and six elevated stations– Aarey, Dindoshi, Pathan Wadi, Pushpa Park, Bandongri and Mahindra & Mahindra.
And the third package consists of designing and constructing of an elevated viaduct and five elevated stations– Magathane, Devipada, National Park, Ovaripada and Dahisar (E).
The e-tender documents will be available up to January 21, 2016 while a pre-bid meeting is scheduled for January 7, 2016. The last date for submission of tender documents is February 1, 2016 up to 6 pm.
