Adani Green Energy (AGEL) has commissioned its third wind-solar hybrid power project in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. This project includes 420 MW of solar and 105 MW of wind power.
This freshly commissioned hybrid power plant has a total operating generating capacity of 450 MW. Adani Green has signed a 25 years Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with SECI (Solar Energy Corporation of India) to supply power at Rs 2.67/kwh.
With the commissioning of this plant AGEL now has a total operating generating capacity of 7.17 GW. The company also has the world’s largest co-located operating hybrid power generation capacity of 1,440 MW.
AGEL previously completed India’s first hybrid power plant of 390 MW in May 2022. This was followed by the commissioning of the world’s biggest co-located hybrid power plant (600 MW) in September 2022. Both of these hybrid energy producing assets are located in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
