ROADWAYThe National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDCL) has floated tender for four-laning of Hapachara-Tulungia road in Assam.

The scope of work envisages construction and upgradation to four-lane of the existing two-lane with paved shoulder from Hapachara to Tulungia road of NH-117 of the existing 0.00 km to 14.050 km and (design 0.000 km to 14.660 km), (design length=14.660 km) in the state on EPC basis under Bharatmala Pariyojana in Economic Corridors.

The work will be executed in a period of 30 months, entailing an investment of Rs 148.51 crore. The maintenance period is for five years.
